This policy explains what Cognivale collects when you use this website, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

What this site collects

This is a static website. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no tracking pixels, and does not build a profile of you across other sites.

• Contact form and email. If you get in touch, we receive what you send — typically your name, email address, organisation and a description of your situation. We use it to reply and to deliver any work you subsequently ask for.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data including IP address, timestamp, page requested and browser user agent. This is ordinary infrastructure logging and is retained for a limited period.
• Local browser storage. Some pages remember small preferences in your own browser. That data never leaves your device and is not readable by us.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us. If we ever run one, joining will be a deliberate act on your part.
• We do not use your enquiry to train any machine learning model.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Where an engagement follows, correspondence is retained for as long as the professional relationship requires, and then for any period our tax and accounting obligations demand.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to our processing it. Write tohello@cognivale.com and we will action it. We will not ask you to justify the request.

Third parties

This site is served by a hosting and content-delivery provider, and any contact form is processed by a form handling service. Both receive request data in the ordinary course of delivering the page or the message. We do not share your information with anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
